Donald Morris of Lewiston looks at his motorcycle pinned under a truck at the entrance of L-A Harley-Davidson on Main Street in Lewiston Monday afternoon. Morris was riding his 1991 Harley Davidson Sportster up Main Street and thought the truck was turning left onto Switzerland Avenue. He attempted to pass the truck on the right, but when the truck turned right, he laid the bike down and somehow managed to kick away from it. The driver of the truck, Dave Charette of Monmouth was heading home from work and turned into the dealership to pick up parts when the accident occured. Lewiston firefighters, background, catch the leaking fuel, but a significant amount of the fuel spilled into the driveway and made it's way into the sewer system. I'm never happy to be in a situation like this, but it could have been a lot worse if I didnt' manage to get off that thing. said Morris.Russ Dillingham photo
